Real Estate Seminar – 21 February 2017 – News from the Regions: zoning and lease
Real Estate Seminar – News from the Regions: zoning and lease
On Tuesday 21 February 2017 the Belgian Real Estate team organises its first seminar of 2017.
Topics will be:
- The special law of 6 January 2014 concerning the 6th State Reform, which entered into force on 1 July 2014, transferred the legislative competences regarding commercial lease, residential lease and agricultural lease to the Regions. Which initiatives have the Regions already taken in these matters? What to expect?
- Since the regionalisation, town-planning legislation is an ever-changing policy. Among the significant changes, the Brussels Capital parliament will soon enact the COBAT reform and, in Wallonia, the CWATUPE will be repealed and replaced by the CODT bis. What are the innovations and consequences of these new legislations?
- The Flemish Region is standing on the brink of major changes in terms of town-planning and environment. On 23 February 2017 the Flemish Decree of 25 April 2014 on the integrated environmental permit will come into force. What to expect? Which are the main points of this new integrated environmental permit?
